A thoughtful, gothic YA ~

Not all gothic literature has to be old or Victorian (though those works are fabulous) to be enjoyable. This is a young adult ghost story that is both sad and adorable at the same time. Gothic YA usually tends to veer in the horror direction, but sometimes, you just want a good ghost tale with some character development. It isn’t particularly fast-paced, but sometimes slow burns are more nurturing of the gothic ambiance we darkly inclined folk love so much!
